Studio & Gallery News, Invitation to Yering Station!

Studio Gallery

Dear Art Lover,

A big thank you to everyone who visited our stall at the Affordable Art Fair in Melbourne last month.  It was very exciting to see family, friends and collectors who have followed and supported my creative journey for years, and to meet new collectors for the first time.

I would also like to thank the artists who allowed me to represent them as a collective:
Dr. Aunty Eileen Harrison, Don Barrett, Laurel Foenander, Peter Biram and Christine Cochran.

Links to their websites are provided via the page button below (and scroll)!

Thank you also to Wayne Foenander of Gippsland Art Couriers who made ‘bump in’ and ‘bump out’ such a smooth ride, and to my husband Chris for taking on the high pressure roles of Installer and Gallery Assistant, and for being there.

The fair provided a great opportunity to partner with Art Money who offer collectors an easy way to pay for artwork over time and I’m pleased to announce that our partnership continues.

Numerous paintings were collected during the course of the fair including In the Line of Fire – Fall with Grace 2019, A Journey in Flow 2019, Bush Dance 2019, The Burning Bush #2 2019, The Snowball Effect 2017 and a miniature diptych Snow Gums 2015.

A very exciting and busy time, with recent commissions delivered and another in progress ‘on the floor’.  Like many artists I experience ‘all or nothing’ depending on where my focus lies, where my work is hung and what projects I might be working on.

Regardless, one is drawn into the studio to continue creating!

Burning Bridges 2018 is now on display at Mingara Gallery, Cowes
Synthetic Polymer Paint & Gold Leaf on Linen, 120 x 190 cm

It was a wonderful surprise to be selected as a finalist in the Yarra Valley Arts – Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition & Awards 2019 with an experimental piece The View from Here #2.  Yering Station, situated in the scenic Yarra Valley region is well recognised for its history, vineyards & food-wine-art experience!

Shapeshifters in Flight 2009

Shapeshifters in Flight is a large, dynamic piece from a previous series titled ‘Inner Journey’.

It has recently become available due to unforeseen circumstances.

The painting is 140 cm high x 240 cm in length

If you can imagine this piece installed in your home or office please don’t hesitate to enquire, or make an appointment to view at the studio.
